This was a unique brief, but a very enjoyable project. Rachel worked closely with Aspis Games to create a high spec prototype for a new boardgame called ‘Roadway‘.
For the prototype a 600 x 400 quad-fold board was created initially and then the branding took shape. Once these were approved the playing cards, instruction leaflet and money followed the design and then the all important box to contain all the contents.
Rachel sub-contracted a 3D illustrator to create the playing pieces from her designs, and then sourced a printer in China to print and deliver the prototype. Aspis Games was so impressed with the look and quality of the design and print that a bulk order was put into place and the games will hopefully be hitting the shelves very soon!
